In a fast and fun morning, learn how to make bread, pie and jelly.  Go home with the fruits of your labor and the confidence to recreate these masterpieces in your own kitchen!









In this 3-4 hour course, you will learn how to make three things:


1)  Honey Whole Wheat Bread - unlike many 'healthy' breads, this loaf is something your kids will actually want to eat.  You'll learn basic bread-making techniques, such as kneading, punching, and rising.




2)  An entire pie from scratch - yes, even a flaky piecrust that won't have you pulling out your hair in frustration.  You'll even learn how to roll crusts without them breaking apart.




3)  Jelly - in a cute little sealed jar.  So you have the option of eating it right away, or giving it a place of honor in the front room window where the sunlight hits it just so and all your guests and delivery men can admire it.  You'll learn about sterilizing jars, what makes jelly "jell", and other basics of safe canning.

You'll also learn some easy clean-up ideas and ways to keep yourself organized in the kitchen.


You will come away with the recipes you used in class and a few extras.  You'll also bring home the entire loaf of bread you made, half of a pie, and 2 half-pints of jelly, so bring a large enough container for the pie and a bag for the bread.
